Dean is a English Actor born in London. Due to his natural quick wit and comic personality he decided ( after years of talking about it) to start performing as a stand up comic. Within weeks of starting He had won the open mic night at the comedy café....which inturn got him a gig at the world famous Comedy Store in London. Two years and over 100 gigs later ,Including being a finalist in ITV show 'Take the Mic' Dean had become more confident and decided to realize his schoolboy dream of becoming a professional Actor at the tender age of 35. He then entered a nationwide search by the BBC to find undiscovered acting talent ,16,000 people entered. Dean was the only untrained actor to reach the final which eventually led him to bring cast in his first Tv role in two episodes of BBC flagship show Eastenders. He then joined and trained at the Artist Theatre School for three years under the watchful eye of respected British actress Amanda Redman MBE Since then, Dean has gone on to shoot many feature and short films Tv roles and Theatre...and occasionally a bit of stand up comedy. 'Headlock Security' sees Dean take the lead role in a feature length comedy, having been lead in over 60 short Dramas and comedy's . Aside from his natural funny bones which has helped him secure many comedy roles from feature films .sitcoms panel shows and ads Dean has an ear for accents and is also very adapt at dramatic gritty roles. Playing Danny a police officer in BBC drama Five Daughters ..Killer Colin Howell in Britain's Deadliest Lovers and Russian child sex trafficker Mario in Short ' Katya' He has recently been back on Eastenders ( 2017) playing the role of GARY.
